Goal: Learn Programming Stuff

SubGoal: Javascript
Step: Skillsoft course JavaScript: Language Basics
Progress:
Module 3: Objects and Object-Orientation

We're approaching the brain hurty, which I suppose is a good thing. I keep wishing I had someone I could ask questions of. I can't tell sometimes if it's the learning program being idiosyncratic about stuff, or if it's actual information about JavaScript.

Progress:
Module 2: Language Fundamentals

OK. Took a break. Ready for more abuse.

Wow, that was less painful, but no less dry. I could barely stay awake. Two more modules left. Maybe after a nap...

Step: Skillsoft course JavaScript: Language Basics
Progress:
Module 1: Introducing JavaScript

Oh my god this is the most tedious bullshit ever. It's not that I know everything in the course, but it shows a screen. Then next brings up "click on each item to learn more". Because that's what next is for - preventing you from doing the obvious until it's clicked, not, say, moving on to the next topic!!! I think I'm going to learn to hate the phrase "Click on each option to find out why it is correct or incorrect" too.

Oh, about about 50% of the time the "more detail" is exactly what the previous screen said! Gah!

Have finished Module1. Will now take a break to allow information to digest, and also for the desire to smash things to subside.
